Our goal was to achieve a sleek design that would integrate well into our home with very specific shelving to fit all of our things. My husband is quite artistic so we actually drew up some initial plans to show to Expressions by design who were able to re-create these images as a 3D scaled plan which we then worked with to come up with a solution exactly how we imagined it.

She Says: When we came to see Expressions By Design it was after lots of shopping around and looking at the various combinations of cabinets and multimedia storage units available. Because of this, we had very specific ideas about what kind of solution we were looking for.

Our goal was to achieve a sleek design that would integrate well into our home with very specific shelving to fit all of our things.

My husband is quite artistic so we actually drew up some initial plans to show to Expressions by design who were able to re-create these images as a 3D scaled plan which we then worked with to come up with a solution exactly how we imagined it.

He Says: When we moved into our new place, we had some creative storage ideas for our media centre and home computer and went searching for a solution. We looked at some of the off the shelf options that were available and they kind of worked but nothing fitted exactly what we had in mind. After a positive visit to the Expressions By Design showroom in Leichhardt, we had a consultant come out to our place and sit down with us to discuss our requirements in more detail.

“What I really liked about working with Expressions By Design was that they were willing to listen to the things i wanted to do and were able to work with that. Actually, we went through a couple of different iterations of the design where I changed my mind and we were allowed to do that which was really great. “

Once work started, it was all turned around very quickly. The Expression By Design installation team were all very professional and listened carefully to little things that I wanted to make sure were done right to get the finish I was after.

Overall, we are very happy with the result - I think it has improved the usability of the space and everyone who has come over since has been very impressed and so are we. We are particularly happy with the way the Entertainment Unit fits in and looks to be part of the unit rather than something that was added afterwards which is a great result.

We would certainly recommend Expressions By Design to others. They are a really good team and they seem keen to produce a good outcome which is really good.
