All custom kitchen cabinetry doors are fitted with BLUM soft close hinges, constructed with A-grade high moisture resistant Australian board with a 2mm non-chip edge and 16mm backing is a standard. Assembly with screws, not just nails, ensures sturdy quality cabinets that will surpass the kitchens rigorous wear and tear demands.
Custom kitchen drawer options range from concealed runners, standard metal side runners to soft close systems with motorized touch sensor opening. Expressions By Design have a range of handles available with thousands of styles to choose from. Doors and drawers can be opened via touch sensors, finger rails, push to open systems or a traditional handle.
Finishes are as varied as your imagination, with all the popular options available, as well as the more unique you may have spotted in a magazine overseas but unable to source.

"When it was time to get our new kitchen, we phoned a couple of people and had a few come out and the difference originally when Expressions By Design came out was the information they gave us. Expressions By Design just seemed to know more about the product than the other people we spoke to.
Rather than say ‘what is it you want’ when we didn’t really know, they came up with some great ideas to choose from which in turn inspired our own ideas.
To help paint the picture, their kitchen designer came with a whole kit and the stuff that he was showing us was right on the money. When we said we wanted this with a bit of a grove in it or something like that, he knew exactly what we were talking about, brought it out of the bag and put some samples together right there and then to help us picture how it might look.
Ultimately, we had an idea that instead of cramming cupboards into the relatively small kitchen space we had to work with, we decided instead to build an adjoining pantry. Once again, the way Expressions By Design helped us with that and put it together - we were really happy.
Since having Expressions by Design make over our kitchen, people have come over and said ‘wow, it’s different’ and ‘it’s absolutely beautiful’. It’s made a small space look really clean and open and much larger than it actually is. We could not be happier.
